Pre Portrait Consultations (Chat)

We like to catch up for a chat at the studio even before you decide to book a Childish session.  It gives us the chance to find out about what you’re looking for in a family portrait.  It’s a fabulous time to meet your family and find out all about their little quirks and interest buttons, so when you come back, the ice is broken and we’re old friends.  It’s a time that we can go over all the options available, the investment involved and all the beautiful ways you can display your final pieces.

Our studio session fee is $195.

This covers my time with you during the portrait session, capturing your images. Babies, Children & Families (even pregnant Mums and Dads) need time to relax in a new environment. They may need a break in the middle for a feed or a cuddle. For this reason, I allow up to 1.5 hours in the studio to capture your images.
This sitting fee also includes your image presentation where you will watch a fabulous slideshow of your day with me. During this session we will design something beautiful for you to take home to display forever. These sessions too are very relaxed and I allow 1.5 hours (and a cup of coffee!!) to work through this with you.
The sitting fee is due at the pre portrait consultation appointment when we actually book your sitting date & time.

Sometimes people ask me if “I only photograph children”, my response is that Childish is not an age, it’s a state of mind.  My portraits are for anyone who’s looking for an image that is spontaneous and fun.

We also have a childish guarantee:
“If you feel we haven’t captured the real personality and emotion of your children and family, we will gladly offer you another portrait session entirely at our expense.  If we are unable to capture it a second time we will refund your investment in full.”
